Terrible!!! This company is an extortionist! What a joke!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They will harass you to no end if you are two days late on rent, they will NOT send someone out to make repairs in your home!

It’s all butterflies and rainbows when you find the house you want, but wait until you need a repair...or you have financial difficulties and are two days late, they will add unending fees resulting in you paying double the amount you owe just to stay in your home. Repairs rarely happen or are dismissed and refused.

Horrible Company

First off I would not rent from this company and would give as many negative stars as possible, but if for some reason you choose to rent from them or do not have a choice here is some advice. First I would demand that the HVAC unit be serviced before you move in. They do not service or maintenance ANYTHING between tenants. Demand that they use licensed professionals and they show you their credentials and leave a copy of the work order. The repair men they use are cheap and skilled in shoddy workmanship. They took no less that 10 trips to repair/replace our AC unit as it had never maintenance in the seven years since it was installed. They destroyed our walls, stained the carpet with oil and left a huge mess installing the unit. Second I would document the condition of the house in detail upon Move in, video record every ding dent or other problem as they will charge you for previous tenants damage that they did not fix. They will do anything in their power to charge a repaint and other fees upon move out, even if things are in the same state as when you moved in. They will tell you not to worry about XY and Z when you move in, WRONG worry about it as they will charge you. Third any major repair send a certified letter ASAP that it needs to be fixed and fixed properly, this legally starts the clock on the amount of time they have to correct the issue. Any other form of communication does not count. Communicate in WRITING so you have proof of what was said. They will switch personnel and ignore you in hopes that you will give up and go away. They will LIE as a standard I caught Susan Green, Emily Peterson and especially Danielle Redmond in BOLD FACED LIES. They will do anything to shift blame to the tenant and not take responsibility for anything, even when they are 100 % at fault. Their only interest is to not spend any money and collect as much as they can. In summary DO NOT rent from this company, if you do cover your butt with both hands as you are going to get screwed!

I will regret renting with AH4R for the rest of my life. The condition we found the house in was horrendous. The walls were dirty, the carpet stained and smelled atrocious. JUNK, DIRTY AND DIGUSTING. We had no choice so we moved into this house and cleaned everything...

I don't rent a home from them, but the people do next door. When i moved into my house in May 2017, I tracked down, through many phones calls the local representative in the Houston area. I mentioned to her the fence was in bad shape between the 2 homes and i was wanting to replace it. The other side neighbors were in, but of course needed them as well. She said i COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ON MY OWN, AND IF I DID I WOULDN'T BE REIMBURSED. Her attitude was rude! She said they mostly do their own repairs, i said fine. She said they would send someone out. that has been 8 MONTHS ago....have NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BACK! I mentioned it to the renters and they have they same trouble. THIS COMPANY FIXES/REPAIRS NOTHING! The renters had to get the A/C fixed in July out of his pocket because they never call back and just last month did she ask for the receipt to reimburse him. This is a HORRIBLE COMPANY. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANY PROPERTY THEY OWN.
